What is mond blowing to me is that all the things she said to implement for someone with oily skin are the complete opposite that I do to avoid excessive oily skin because oily skin is what I have. I'm like whaaaaaat, use oil on the skin?! do not use Micellar?! No matte primer ?! Among other things!! I was like oh nooooo baby LOL this video isn't for me, although, I understand to each their own! No offense but I feel melanin skin is different on many levels.

Book the air bnb sooner! Like 38 weeks! Just in case The diaper pads are amazing. Most hospital let you borrow a pump, but it’s nice to have your own to get used to it.

My pregnancy flew by until the last 3 wks. I was so big by then. It took so much energy to move/ waddle about. Thats when Braxton Hicks contractions started too. It seemed like the last few weeks drug on. However, I do believe the Braxton Hicks helped prepare me for labor. I was in labor but thought it was lower back pain. It wasnt until my water broke that I realized I was in labor. By the time I got to the hosp 10:30. I was holding my baby girl @ 11:52. I had a quick labor & was a first time mom. I bought all kinds of outfits. Which was a watse, as she stayed in onsies the majority of the time. I shouldve bought large majority of outfits for when she was older. I do recommend a button or snap gown for easy breast feeding. Peri bottle with whitch hazel in case you tear during delivery. I did take a cute baby outfit for the hosp picture.

I've had 2 girls. Hospital bag I would say a sitz bottle is ESSENTIAL. As far as what baby needs to be honest it depends on you and your baby. We never bothered with the baby gym for first because she hated being on her back, but second one loved it and used baby gym ALL the time 😅 First baby loved the moses basket. Second hated it. And for the first I carried SO much crap atound in a massive rucksack and with the second I carry a big handbag with a lot less in it haha! Also yes you're right first births can take a lot longer. I was dilating for 17 days with my first and 14 hours labour. 12 days dilating and 5 hours of labour with my second. Both born the day before due date though 😂

Nikkia you look beautiful! I am pregnant with my second, just entering the second trimester. I recommend a robe and some comfy shoes for the hospital, definitely the adult nappies, and don’t be afraid to pack some warmer clothes for Brandon. My first was born in July in Texas 🔥 but I couldn’t have the room temp higher than like 63 degrees F and my husband was freezing the entire time, poor guy, because all I packed for him were shorts and t-shirts 😅

If you need an EASY BREEZY first birth story, I am your girl! My first son, who turned 27 last week wasted no time making his arrival. I expected a 24 hour labor, so after my water broke, I took a shower, shaved my legs, etc.. before we left for the hospital (I didn’t start having contractions until we we were on the way there). Water broke at 5:30 am, arrived at hospital at 7:15 am, he was born at 8:30 am (he hasn’t slowed down yet)! And needless to say, we induced my second son because I was afraid of having him in the car. They induced at 7:30 am & he was born at 9:15 am. Best advice anyone can give you, is TREASURE every moment because you will blink & he will be 27 years old. And you will miss the days of being swollen & puffy & feeling him kick inside you, because that is the most wonderful amazing feeling ever!!! I wish you guys the best! Y’all are beautiful!!!

I wouldn’t bring any diapers, wipes etc. they give you all that. Bring comfy clothes for you. Charger, a few snacks, baby clothes etc. good luck

Old one has glow and look like skin no one can notice you wear something, unfortunately new one you look you put something more dry and not oxidize so you need to check again new shade as well give patchy look cannot imagine they ruined my holy grail foundation

Is it good for oily skin?

5 babies here and all delivered around the 36-37 week mark. Keep an eye on the swelling sunshine just to be sure it’s not Bp related.. And the period like pain if it worsens .. Of course only speaking from my own experience, all of these signalled early deliveries for me. In saying that 37 weeks is considered term.. But all started with lower back pain I thought felt like period pain. I’m sure you’re being regularly monitored from here though. Congratulations on the gender.. I have 4 and one girl.. You look beautiful 💙🌸

Of course you're tired! You're growing a human being inside of you! It's amazing and exhausting at the same time. Congrats on being a boy mom. I have 2 sons... and they are totally different! They are amazing though. My older son just graduated a month ago. The other is about to turn 11. It's been hard and a blessing at the same time. As for what you need... you'll know when you need it!

All I can say is be very gentle with yourself. Don't put to much pressure on a definite plan. Learn everything, but don't worry if things change. Listen to your instincts . Baby boys are the best 💙🩷🩵 Congratulations xxx

For the diaper bag, you need less than you think. A lot less. The hospital gives you the majority of what you need. Personally, I liked wearing my own cute, chosen robe that was still functional for breastfeeding and had access to my arms and I could pull on and off as needed. I also liked doing my hair and some skincare and minimal makeup. It helped me feel more normal and more “in control”. For the baby, maybe some cute “presentation” outfits for visitors, something functional and easy. But yeah, you’ll be in and out of pain and kind of out of it, the hospital stay isn’t glamorous. You and baby and dad just need to get through it! I love flowers, so all my visitors brought me bouquets every visit. I ended up leaving with so many flowers, I loved it. Also, my mom got me a huge “Welcome Baby Girl” wreath to hang outside the hospital door. The visitors could not miss which room was mine!

Lol, doing a gender reveal, and yet everything is blue, definitely is not a reveal at all. Congratulations on your sweet little bundle. Baby are the best.

If you want to sleep, you need a swing. A flat bathing sponge is a lifesaver. The most important thing you need is help! If someone offers food, take it, if someone offers to help clean take it, if someone offers to help with the baby take it and sleep whenever you are given the opportunity.

I am so happy for you and Brandon! Congrats on your little one! One thing I can tell you, is that most likely you will not need your breast pump until later. Most doctors say to breast feed exclusively for the first few months. But that is just a suggestion. If you want to pump so that Brandon can bottle feed, that is amazing as well.

Red nightlight and White Noise, Game changer. I have a 5 month old, My Hatch is a white noise machine and it has the color nightlight. The theory behind this is that , your womb was white noise and all baby would see was red inside the placenta. So its a comfort thing. I know it might sound unsettling at first , but my baby will not nap unless that white noise machine is on. And actually it is a cue for sleep (nap/bed time) I would take this with you to the hospital. So baby is use to it. I would buy a breast pump , if your plan is to breastfeed it can take a week for your milk to come in and you nay need to pump every 3 hours to stimulate milk production. I would recommend the Spectra , its white and blue. The hospital pump did not help me . But for Hospital Bag, please be prepared for C section. I was not prepared for a c section birth and ended up having one. I whole heartedly recommend you research c section hospital bag must haves and know that it is truly a possibility. I am wishing you so much love and light for baby boy. Hoping your delivery is amazing. I cant wait to see the baby vlog !

I had terribly low iron during the last trimester with my youngest son , he sucked it right out of me!

I have a baby boy, Geno, he is 5 months old and is the light of my life. I could cry every time I talk about him to other people. He is the biggest momma’s boy and loves his momma so much! You are going to LOVE having a boy!! Congrats 😘💙🩵
